Are buyers slower to make a decision to purchase a home today?

Just wondering if other agents are experiencing on their listings?  It seems that the feedback from agents regarding showings is that the buyers like the properties they are looking at, like the price of the properties that they are looking at but seem to be a little hesitant to pull the trigger and have their agent write an offer.  I know that there are a lot of quality homes on the market and that agents are doing a good job in preparing their sellers to make sure that their homes shine when buyers come through but the hesitation is very confusing and just does not make sense.  Buyers do need to understand that quality homes are still selling and need that little extra push or just the simple question of "So are you ready to make an offer?" asked to them.

Let me know what you think about the slow trigger pullers!  Do you really think that it is an issue of over supply, financing options or something else?

I've also noticed that buyer's are slower to make a purchase decision.  They don't feel any pressure to decide because they think the house will be waiting there for them next week, or even next month.  Of course, if it's a great house being offered at a great price, they may be very wrong.
